How we are staying safe in 2022-2023:
We are in close contact with all our facilities to stay current with all state guidelines. We will continue
to monitor and implement the local, state, and federal recommendations as they are announced and
make any necessary adjustments. We will take each city into consideration as it approaches and
keep you updated on new terms and regulations.
Each facility has different guidelines; some are limiting access, some are checking temperatures, and
all are providing cleaning and sanitizing at the highest possible standard. We are very encouraged
with the steps each of our facilities are taking.
CONVENTIONS:
COMPETITIONS:
We expect to continue monitoring the COVID-19 situation into 2023. We have many options available
to us; from zero restrictions, to block scheduling studios and online award announcements, and many
other options in between. We are committed to a safe, fun, competitive event, and look forward to
rising to the challenges that may be ahead. We will keep you updated every step of the way.

CONVENTIONS:
- Large ballrooms, smaller class sizes. You will have room to dance safely by utilizing our entire available space.
- Photo opportunities will be distanced at our events. We know dancers are “huggers,” but this year presents some challenges. In the interest of keeping our staff and attendees safe, you may, at a distance from other dancers, come to the stage to thank or take a photo with your instructor. Please stay on the floor, and the instructor will stay on the stage to lean into your photo. Although different, we think this will provide the distance we all need to maintain safety in a convention environment.
- limited Observer registration is currently available for pre-purchase for nexus events. We will admit additional observers if state guidelines allow. In the event observers are not permitted, we are working on live stream pop up options for each class so that you can check out what your dancer is up to at Nexus.
- Please bring your own water bottle. Water stations will not be available.
- If you are ill, please stay home. We will roll your credit over to the next event if you wake up with a fever on the day of Nexus.
- All merchandise will be individually pre-bagged for your safety.
- Masks are not required during classes unless mandated by state or local orders.
- Temperatures may be checked at the door. if local orders require temperature checks, Dancer must be below 100.4 to participate.
